Finished in a polished ebony color. All sides and legs are solid wood (birch) imported from Europe.
Item arrives in the box and you need to assemble the legs only.

Spade legs, made out of solid birch which is considered one of the strongest wood in the industry. Adjustable Brass rings under each legs (perfect for uneven floors or if the players wishes to tilt the bench 1″ forward towards the keys to make the piano bench more ergonomic. Mechanism is Pneumatic, operated by a gas Mechanism like an office chair. User can quickly adjust the bench down while seated by turning the knob. You can raise it as well by turning the knob while not seated. The mechanism can be adjusted by a user who weights at least 115lb

Stunning bench, very well made. The tufting looks great and it’s very comfortable to sit on. The bench adjusts easily and quickly to a turn of the wooden knob, and the brass rings under the legs give it that extra touch of adjustability. I was able to adjust the rings to level the bench as I have old uneven laminate flooring! so it was good. Out of the box it’s easy to assemble, and it includes a wrench.

Very elegant bench. Our Grand Piano had an older bench that looked fragile compared to the piano, but this one is a perfect match. The brass rings are a nice touch that makes it feel more premium.
